Your connection and love for each other will be celebrated throughout your session and in the images we create together. Me and my camera are here to give you an affirming photography session that celebrates the fierce love you share as a family.

FAQ

  • The first thing to know is all sessions include time for breaks. No need to worry about being “on” the entire time.

    Sessions typically last around 60 minutes, and I allow around 2 hours for in-home newborn sessions.

  • Within 2 weeks of your session, you’ll receive a link to view your slideshow of fully edited pictures.

    After viewing you’ll decide which collection you’d like to purchase. Each collection includes a certain amount of high-resolution digital image files and print credit to spend in your gallery store.

  • The typical timeline from session to holding your printed products in your hands is 8 weeks.

    My calendar can book a month in advance in the slow season and longer in October and November. For Christmas photos, book your family session in August, September, or early October to have your printed products (cards, gifts, etc.) in hand for shipping in December.

    The best time to book fall pictures is January - August that way you’ll be locked in on my calendar when the time comes.

  • Short answer - wear clothes that make you feel great! I’ll send you more info in your getting ready guide after booking.

    Pro Tip: If you, your partner, or your kids aren’t comfortable it will be hard to relax and enjoy the photo session. Looking at your pictures will bring back those feelings and it will be harder to love the pictures.

  • Here’s the good news - even in the rainy PNW I don’t have to reschedule very often.

    One thing that helps is booking with a window of a few days in mind. For example - book on a Saturday but keep the Friday and Sunday tentatively available. That way we can make the final call the week of your session based on the most current forecast. Or we can even look at having a session in your home!

  • First and foremost, I’m passionate about making every session a safe place for everyone to express themselves in their most authentic way. That means being flexible and working WITH your children.

    I know we parents always want our kids to be on their best behavior with strangers but from here forward I hope you’ll think of me as family. We’re on the same team when it comes to creating an opportunity for your kids to be exactly who they are while I happen to be there with a camera.

    When we have our phone call and in your pre-session questionnaire I want to know any and all concerns you have about making this fun for your kids.
